ABOUT ME
Hello! I am Sofia, a multidisciplinary artist and illustration student based in Brooklyn.
I
work in video, illustration, zine-making, sculpture, and printmaking. My practice explores the tension between control and chaos, often drawing from personal history, bodily imagery, and DIY aesthetics. Community is central to my work, and I’m committed to keeping accessibility and equity at the heart of everything I make.
Alongside my personal projects, I’ve collaborated with organizations like the Vera Institute of Justice, producing visual media that supports advocacy and community. I’m experienced in both experimental and client-oriented workflows, and I move between the two as part of a broader practice rooted in communication, texture, and emotion.
